Meri Harmon Halem, LMFT, LCSW, BCD, MA is a Diplomate, Clinical Fellow, Supervisor and Consultant. She has practiced holistic, integrative psychotherapy for more than 36 years . She is a certified Qi Gong, Tai Chi, and Meditation instructor and the creator of the Harmonic Focus® program. Her work emphasizes self-healing and a commitment to the concept that people can become more empowered when they address the behavioral, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of their lives.
Meri is the Interpretive Translator of the book Meridian Exercise for Self-Healing, an internationally recognized self-healing system. She has appeared on radio, and given many presentations. Her class, Mindful Movement, is offered in community college, continuing education programs, at senior centers and private venues.
She has served as Affiliate Adjunct Clinical Professor of Psychology at St. John’s University, for the Post Graduate Program for Marriage and Family Therapy and also trained in Family and Couples Therapy at the distinguished Ackerman Institute for the Family and holds numerous certifications in her fields of study.
